With the heatwave at an end, it's time to start thinking about your autumn wardrobe
Here in the UK it looks like we've seen the end of the scorching summer temperatures and we're back to 'seasonal averages' of 20-25 degrees along with the odd thunder storm and shower. That's good news for gardeners across the country and also means we'll be looking ahead to the end of the school holidays and switching back into work mode.
So, what to wear as we head into the new season? It's certainly time to think about adding an extra layer and we recommend our Moreton blazer as a way of adding a stylish touch - as well as a splash of colour if you opt for the pink or turquoise versions. We've had a play around with some different looks to see what works well with each of the colours and you can see the results below:
A blazer is a stylish way of bringing a favourite summer dress into autumn. You can add a belt to maintain the feminine silhouette;
A monochrome outfit is the perfect canvas for a colour pop of hot pink, but works equally well with the more sober silver grey blazer;
Teamed with jeans and a hoodie, the Moreton blazer can add a dash of sophistication to a more casual, urban look.
As we approach the end of summer, we're also on the look out for the end of season sales to pick up any bargains there are around. For those that don't know, The Tall Collective is a new website bringing together a variety of tall brands in one place and includes menswear and shoes as well as womenswear. Many of the brands featured have a sale now on so head on over to check out what's available.
So, we hope you enjoy the last of the holidays and keep an eye on the website for the appearance of our next jacket: our olive green Blewbury jacket, shown below, which we should be getting into stock by mid-September.
